X Subscription plans: Plus vs Premium vs Super vs Ultra
Short answer: One subscription covers Grok, Cursor and X. Paid tiers share one weekly AI usage pool across Grok and Cursor. Grok Bot starts at Premium ($30/mo). Third-party models in Cursor (Claude, GPT) are always billed extra at API list price. [1][2][3]

Key rules
- The pool refreshes weekly. Different products draw different amounts from it. [2][3]
- Past the pool, usage is paid from prepaid top-up credit. Auto Top-up is opt-in, and you can set a monthly spending cap. [4]
- Super adds priority model access at peak times. Ultra adds earliest access to new products and models. [3]
- xAI's own advice: Premium for new AI users, Super for daily agent users, Ultra for power users, Plus for social creators. [3]
Not published: the actual size of "Base", "4x", "15x" and "50x" in tokens or tasks.
Should I switch from SuperGrok, Cursor or X Premium?
- You don't have to. Existing plans continue. [1]
- Switching cancels the selected plans with a prorated refund, and can't be undone. [1][5]
- App Store subscriptions to Cursor aren't cancelled or refunded automatically. Cancel them in iOS Settings. [1]
- A key trade-off: the new plans include no allowance for third-party models. Legacy Cursor plans include an "Other Models" allowance (see the Cursor page). [3][6]
